Being skillful. Wisely navigating an intensely heterogeneous cosmos in Mongolia

This paper proposes to explore how being “skillful” (mergen) plays out and is relied upon in Mongolia within two different contexts, archery divination, both linked “cairns” (ovoo) more than one way. In these skillful people are expected embody a virtue that any Mongolian man or woman supposed exhibit daily less spectacular consequential manner. As prominent bearers of skillfulness, archers diviners indeed respond with accuracy complex set potentially clashing variables, thus ensure each their own way the proper fortunate positioning an intensely heterogeneous cosmos.
